포항역에서 출발하여 동해의 상징인 호미곶 해맞이 광장에서 시작해, 바로 옆 국립 등대 박물관에서 해양 역사를 탐방한다. 이어서 근대 건축물의 아름다움이 남아있는 구룡포 일본인 가옥 거리에서 과거로의 시간여행을 떠나고, 까멜리아 카페에서 잠시 여유를 즐기며 7시간의 포항 여행을 마무리하는 코스이다.
